Does it work during an Instagram Live?
Yes. Use a Live comment trigger and a keyword such as JOIN. Matching comments can get a short public reply, and the workshop link goes in the DM. Sends are spaced out, so a busy Live does not fire every DM in the same second. Free stops at 1,000 DMs.
Can I collect phone numbers or emails?
On Plus and above. A step in the DM asks for the detail and checks that an email looks valid. Plus lists who that automation captured. Pro lets you download the list. Free does not include this step.
Can it send a reminder before my workshop?
As a follow-up DM, on Plus and above. You set the wait. It is not a calendar. Instagram stops delivering automated messages 24 hours after the person’s last action, so a reminder for a workshop next week will not go out unless they message or tap again. Croudnest warns you if the wait is past that window.
Does it connect to Zoom, Google Meet, or my course platform?
It sends the link you paste. There is no Zoom, Meet, or course-platform login inside Croudnest. Put the registration or class URL on the DM button and that is what opens.
Do I need a business account?
A professional account: Creator or Business. Switch in Instagram settings, at no cost. Connect through Instagram’s login. Croudnest does not ask for the password.
Is it safe for my account?
Sends use Meta’s official API, and every plan spaces them out. Plus and above rotate the wording and warn you if the public comment contains a link. No tool can guarantee Instagram will never restrict an account.
