Do you need my Instagram password?

No. You connect through Instagram’s own login screen, and Croudnest never sees or stores your password.

Is Croudnest allowed by Instagram?

Croudnest uses Meta’s official Instagram API, the same way approved business tools do. It doesn’t scrape Instagram or log in as you.

Can my account still get restricted?

Yes, it can. Instagram makes that decision, not Croudnest. What we do is send only through Meta’s official API, space the replies out, and on Plus and above rotate the wording and warn you while you build. A link in a public comment, a shortened URL, or a follow-up past the 24-hour window are the usual problems that check is looking for.

Do I need to set anything up?

Connecting the account and spacing out sends happen on their own. To vary the wording, add more than one public reply and more than one DM. That rotation is on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise. The check while you build also runs on those plans: it flags a link or a shortened URL in the public comment, spammy wording, and a follow-up that would send after Instagram’s 24-hour window.

Which plans include Account Protection?

Every plan, including Free, uses Meta’s official API and spaces replies out. Rotating the wording and the check while you build are on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise. Enterprise can also review your automations with you. The comparison is on the pricing page.

How do I disconnect Croudnest?

Disconnect from your Croudnest settings, or remove Croudnest from your Instagram settings. You can also ask us to delete your data anytime.
